20,000 leagues under the Sea

I started reading this book by Jules Verne, and so far it seems good, its like a fantasy novel from the 1800's but its very good.
Its a nice jump from the last book i read, which was depressing to an unhealthy level. But i am pretty excited to finish reading this book, because it seems very interesting so far.

Its finally done

I barely finished A clockwork orange, it didnt turn out to be my kind of book, its was way too much "ultra-violence," and i couldnt handle it. Everything was described in so much detail that i was amazed, but the detail was directed onto things that made me sick, like rape and murder. I cant wait to start a new book, something that wont make me sick to my stomach.

Not what I expected

A clockwork orange is a very difficult book to read, its not exactly what i expected because its very violent and theres alot of rape and murder. But i will finish this book because i wanna see how its going to end. I also forgot to mention that the main character is only 15 years old, and he is in charge of his little gang that do all this murdering and raping. Its just hard for me to imagine someone our age doing anything like this, but of course somewhere in the world something like this exists.

A clockwork orange

I finally started reading the book i always wanted to read. A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. Its really difficult for me to read for some reason, a lot of the book consists of old russian slang that is incorporated with the english text. This only makes it harder, even though i understand most of it, i wonder how others do it. Aside from that, the book seems very interesting, and is by far one of the best books i have read, even though Im not even close to finishing.

The End

I have finished reading the Old man and the Sea and I did enjoy it, but not as much as my previous book. I did like, however, the way the author showed that the fish was not needed just for the food or money; but to show that the old man is still a grat fisherman. Even though there was a trajic ending, where the sharks had eaten the fish, the old man did not give up on being a fisherman thanks to the boy. Overall it was a good book, and i would recommend this to anyone that is in the mood to read an exciting book.

Symbolism In, The Old Man And The Sea

In the book I am reading now, The Old Man And The Sea, i think the fish that the old man and the boy are trying to catch symbolizes their struggle, and is the only force that can bring this old man down, and stop him from ever fishing again.

Wow finally

I finally finished reading this book, it have to say it was really slow in the beginning, and it was easier to understand at first as well. Towards the end the book was filled with action, but i dont want to spoil it for any of you, but i do recommend it. The next book that i will be reading is A Clockwork Orange
